The reconstruction of the four-manual, 74-stop pipe organ was funded by a 800 million forint (EUR 2.4m) government grant.

House Speaker Laszlo Kover said at the inauguration that the Hungarian state has allocated 640 billion forints to major cultural investments since 2010, 70 of which have already been concluded and 90 are in progress.

At the concert, organists Istvan Ruppert, Balazs Szabo, Janos Palur and Laszlo Fassang performed works by Liszt, Erkel, Richard Strauss, Kodaly and Reger.
