International Judo Federation re-elects Vizer as president

 

The International Judo Federation (IJF) has re-elected Marius Vizer as its president.

The Austrian-Romanian sports diplomat was elected for a four-year term at the Budapest congress of the federation on Friday.

Vizer, who has held the top post of the federation since 2007, announced that IJF had concluded a cooperation agreement with the CNN news channel.

Budapest will host the World Judo Championships from August 28 to September 3.
